Course overview

The module can only be taken as part of a programme.

To prepare nurses and midwives (pharmacists and other allied health professionals pending regulatory body approval) to practice as independent/supplementary prescribers • To develop the knowledge and skills required by an approved allied health professional (dietitians and diagnostic radiographers) to practice as a supplementary prescriber (HCPC approval applied for) • To meet the standards set by the respective professional/regulatory body as required within the legislative framework.
