Course overview
These Level 6 & 7 modules are available, online via e-learning, as stand-alone modules for professionals working or intending to work in the field of sexual health. They are delivered concurrently but have different respective outcomes and assessment.
Promoting Sexual Health is also an option module for students on courses in the Faculty’s Sexual Health Framework.
These modules provide the opportunity to explore the complex relationships between sexual health and a range of personal, social, environmental and political opinions and influences, and recognise the significance of these, in shaping positive sexual health promotion. You will critically examine the issues of sexual health, sexual ill health and sexual abuse highlighting political and legal issues and implications for clients and professionals.
